MEN SHOULD DO YOGA

Why Men Should Do Yoga!

Let’s make it clear, Yoga isn’t all about sitting, mediating or any other stereotypes. According to scientific research, it has shown to build strength, enhance mental focus, increase flexibility, improve stability, sleep, posture, and relieve stress.

So basically, Yoga is a full body workout in a different kind of way!

With all the transformative advantages of yoga, why are men still skeptical towards it?

So for all men out there, yoga does not make you girly or feminine nor does it threatens your masculinity, it makes you strong and durable as it provides you with a constant challenge to be a better form of yourself.

LIFT HEAVIER WEIGHTS

Yoga enhances the aesthetic of your physique and increases your range of motion and flexibility which enables you to lift heavier weight.

INCREASE MUSCULAR ENDURANCE

Most yoga poses are held longer compared to traditional exercises. This causes muscles to have isometric contractions which increase your overall muscular endurance.

RIPPED ABS

Yoga widens the range of motion and increases access to more muscle fibers, allowing more muscle growth on cellular level. So as its cells are enlarged, the muscle is enlarged too. Therefore, making your serratus anterior (the muscle located under your armpit and over the side of your rib) pop will help your abs look ripped!

RELEASE MENTAL & PHYSICAL TENSIONS

Yoga helps to release mental and physical tensions, especially for men who have a tendency to internalize stress and anxiety.

Some athletes & celebrities who jumped on to the yoga bandwagon:

          LeBron James

          Ray Lewis

          Adam Levine

          Robert Downey Jr.

          Mathew McConaughey
