Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, the guru of Ashtanga Yoga, lived.
Mysore is open to more experienced students who wish to take their practice beyond the Ashtanga Primary Series. The class is not led and all instruction is given on an individual basis. As you gain strength, stamina, flexibility and focus, poses will be added on to your sequence.
A Mysore class is where you can develop your meditation practice by following your own breath and deepen your focus. It provides you the chance to work one-on-one with a trained teacher. This individual attention helps your practice soar.
