(Yoga+Pilates+Dance)

 

A body forming, workout class with an elegant and dynamic choreography. It combines spine training and Pilates elements with different dance styles, mainly with the basics of jazz and classical ballet. It also includes some basic yoga movements. Besides understanding and learning the dance-like movements, the aim of this class is to establish and continuously improve inner harmony. The soft and continuous movements of Port De Bras promote flexibility, static power; enhance sense for rhythm, balancing and coordination. We practice a new choreography for 5 to 10 sessions, and improve its performance continuously. Port De Bras is recommended for those who like to experience the depth of soft and elegant movements, and those who like to feel like a dancer forgetting about the outside world and momentarily dive into the passion of dance, music and movement.

The chakras are storehouses of ionoplasmic energy of the same nature as prana - the vital force. They are also called psychic centres. 'Chakra' literally means wheel or circle.

 The science of yoga has given man the hope of awakening the potential that is dormant in every individual.

 When man was engrossed in ignorance, he was only thinking and identifying with the material part of his existence - the body, mind and emotions and get caught in the realm of pain and pleasure. Thus he finds it very difficult to transcend this level of consciousness and realise or experience his higher consciousness.

 How can we separate the consciousness from the lower nature, and discover our link with the deeper and higher self? It is only through awakening our dormant spiritual energy- kundalini, that we can achieve this end.

 According to the scriptures, hatha yoga plays a very important part in awakening spiritual energy. Just as in an automobile there must be harmony between the functioning of brakes, accelerator and steering, etc., in our body the different systems must also function in harmony.

 In this workshop you will learn what are chakras, their locations and how to identify the exact location point of each chakras. Master the technique of concentrating on each and every chakra, to awaken them. Understand the benefits of balancing the chakras, how they influence you in daily life and achieving your goal.

 About Shraddha

The Yoga Chakras workshop is based on Traditional Hatha Yoga teachings.

Shraddha is trained in the tradition of Satyananda Yoga. A two year intensive yogic science training based on Yogic Psychology, Philosophy, Applied Anatomy & Physiology and Kriya. She is a Certified Yoga Nidra Practitioner and a member of SYTA (Satyananda Yoga Teachers Association Australasia. She holds a Bachelor Degree in Management & Marketing. As a holistic practitioner,  she holds a certificate in Ayurvedic Principles study.

She has five years of yoga teaching experience in Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and Himalaya. As a Kirtanist, she believes in the power of love with all consciousness. Her class is healing, nurturing & inspiring. She shares that - whether its physical, mental, emotional or spiritual, yoga has something for everyone at any stage of life's journey.

Yogaraj CP was initiated into Yoga at the age of 5 by his father, S. Chidhambaram, who learnt Yoga from the masters in Himalayan. He has participated and won many Yoga Competitions since 1988. He is the holder of the two Guinness world records in Yoga.Yogaraj CP started teaching Yoga at the age of 17, to  enhance his potential as a Yoga Teacher he completed a Diploma in Naturopathy and Yogic Science at Yoga and Natural Living Development Trust, Chennai, India. He also completed a teacher training course at Divine Life Society (Sivananda) in Chennai and received the title Yoga Ratna, meaning Jewel of Yoga. He al provides professional trainings to the yoga teachers. Many of his students are now teaching in Hong Kong and other Asian Countries. He is currently the Guest Yoga Teacher in City University of Hong Kong, also the founder  and the director of Prana Yogam Hong Kong .

Innovative Yoga is created by Teacher Yogaraj that his own styles of yoga practice. He would have many variations base on his practice and experience in Hatha Yoga and combine with most of the basic to advanced yoga postures as a dynamic flow. It is focusing on the variations and longer holding of postures as to improve the body strength and minded training while breath control. It's a challenging class that will improve your flexibility, strength, and stamina. Gradually that increases the inner strength for both body and mind. This is for those who practice yoga on a regular basis.

 

Yin & Yang Yoga Workshop

This Yin & Yang Sequence is the own style created by Teacher Yogaraj, Part I: It would concentrate on Yang Yoga which is mainly flow by the vinyasa (standing postures & jumping steps, power yoga) focusing on developing core strength, muscle tone, balance, stamina with proper alignment and Ujjayi (translated as "victorious") breath; more energetic (Yang) sequence to promote circulation of energy (Prana). 

Part II: It mainly is yin yoga postures with deep stretches, careful adjustments and relaxation to target the connective tissues of the body, and cultivate a peaceful and meditative mind.

Tyler is the author of Ho'olokahi Numerology System. He hosts Yoga Numerology and Yoga Mind Lab workshops around the globe. He is a regular speaker at conferences and yoga events, most recently being a faculty member at the 2017 Asia Yoga Conference. Tyler completed 200hr RYT and 40hrs of Ashtanga Yoga Teacher training with David Swenson.  He was a board member of the Yoga Alliance Education Committee. He teaches Anatomy & Physiology and Mindfulness for Sanghawai Yoga Teacher trainings in Hawaii three times per year.  Tyler shares a unique perspective on the deeper aspects of life and yoga in simple and practical ways.

Yoga numerology, or Ho'olokahi Numerology, is a highly accurate birthdate numerology system. It utilizes the art and science of numbers found in the birthdate to reveal the deep psychology, core challenges, natural gifts, and unique purpose path of a person.  The Ho'olokahi system originates from the Kundalini Yoga tradition of the 10 energy bodies and is infused with aloha. In Hawaiian, Ho'olokahi means to make peace, whole, or unified.
