Susie is a natural yoga teacher with a passion for the practice, which comes out in her teachings where she adds a fun-loving element and humor to lighten the energy in the room. She is known for having strong vinyasa flow classes, adding inversions and arm balances, without losing focus of alignment and safety.
As an E-RYT 500 hr certified yoga teacher, Susie has been teaching for 5 years, with hundreds of classes under her belt.
Susie started practicing yoga 16 years ago, and finds it to be the one form of movement that allows her body to build strength, gain flexibility, and develop an inner peace all at the same time. She is challenged every day with the practice, because there is always something new to work on.
Be prepared to sweat, grow, breathe and fly in her classes. You will be right side up and upside down during the practice. Her approach is very hands on, as well as giving personalized adjustments to each student. Experiencing more than just a yoga class, students leave the room feeling invigorated, empowered, and craving the next chance to get on their mat.

Intro to inversions and arm balances
6th April 2018, 7.00pm to 9.00pm
This workshop will start with a 45 min practice, and then we will dive into and breakdown forearm stands, arm balances and handstand.
Mastering the handstand and other arm balances
7th April 2018, 10.00am to 12.00pm
This day will start with a 45 min practice and then we will continue where we left off on Day 1 and also focus in on the handstand and practice how to fall out safely, as well as different entrances and techniques for hardstanding including working with the wall as well as using props to hold handstand.
We will work on different handstand drills for strength and endurance. We will explore different techniques such as jumping in from down dog and tuck ups as well as puppy presses.
Diving deeper into Handstand and Variations
7th April 2018, 2.00pm to 4.00pm
This workshop will start with a 45 min practice and then will navigate through hardstanding and variations including one arm handstands, pressing to handstand, toe tapping and learning how to move from different poses into and out of handstand including crow, tittibhasana, koundinyasana, crocs and chest stand
Backbends/ Splits and flexibility/handstands
8th April 2018, 2.00pm to 4.00pm
This workshop will start with a 45 min practice and then dive into backbending and flexibility.
We will work on Scorpions, Hollowbacks, cheststand, and other back bending poses, as well as add them into our handstand practice.
Advanced hand balancing and transitions
8th April 2018, 10.00am to 12.00pm
This pose is the culmination of all the workshops and will require the previous classes for practice.
We will explore advanced hand balancing transitions and techniques, adding in all that we have learned including flexibility, and strong arm balances.
Also learning how to add these into your practice and create transitions.
