Since birth, we are scheduled for death. But it is a long process and a joyful journey if we can proceed in a systematic way, but no matter our plans. As we become older, we come across lots of physical and emotional problems.
When we enter old age, the greatest disadvantage is the loss of our natural mobility, flexibility and strength. If we can manage to do some physical exercises, have a proper food habit or some good planning at a young age, it will not be as bad but we cannot escape from old age problems.
There are lots of processes or techniques to maintain good health for seniors – such as walking, running, doing various light sports activities, and even taking health supplements or vitamins. However, the easiest and safest way to maintain our healthy body is by practicing Yoga.
As we grow older, we first lose our mobility and flexibility, followed by strength, gradually stability and coordination, and eventually we lose the ability to walk, sit, or stand without assistance. We also face joints inflammation like Arthritis, Osteoporosis and Gout problem. The vertebra gradually loses its mobility and we face disc compression, together with other spinal problems. Because of such spinal disorders, we start to face lots neurological and physiological problems. Furthermore, we may also be concurrently dealing with high blood pressure, diabetes, loss of memory, indigestion, sleeping disorders, and many other health deteriorating symptoms.
The goal does not have to be big. If we do some simple yogic process every day, we can definitely protect and prevent ourselves from this painful situation.
According to my experience about yogic science, I am suggesting only a few simple yogic methods which you can practice on a regular basis.
